Vaishali Naik - Research Associate
Air pollution-climate interactions, air pollution impacts, biofuels
Vaishali is an atmospheric scientist whose research is focused on the linkages between air pollution and climate change. She is an Associate Research Scholar at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. She has ten years of experience in global atmospheric chemistry modeling. With colleagues at Princeton and GFDL, she investigated the potential net climate benefit from reducing air pollutant emissions in different regions of the world. Her current research is focused on understanding the atmospheric distribution and budget of ethanol. Vaishali’s research interests also include climate change and air pollution impacts on developing countries, geoengineering, and biosphere-atmosphere interactions.
